Pause in Progress

I hope everyone enjoyed a Happy Easter and Holiday break.  I sure did!  I fulfilled a promise to my son to visit one of his favorite places in Texas:  Lake Fork.  We had been trying to go since last summer, and for one reason or another, it took us this long to fulfill this plan and my promise to him.  He had an absolutely wonderful time enjoying the gorgeous weather, and we took many photographs and walks outside.
It would have been a perfect weekend to work on the Studio, however, it was really good to pause and to relax.  I don't do that often enough.  It was wonderful to recharge my batteries, so to speak. We took some drives around the countryside and enjoyed eating out at new places.  I read my book about the Hebrides in Scotland, titled Call the Nurse, and even took a nap!
My friend Sandy called while we were out driving, and said that she had some cardboard that would be perfect for the studio!  She has had to put new flooring in her home due to a fire last Christmas, and the boxes that the flooring came in can be saved and used for the walls of the studio.  So I'm thankful to have a good source for the cardboard already.  And I have been saving some boxes at my house as well.  Weather is stormy today, and I will have to wait for some good weather and the time that I can continue work on the insulation and walls, but I'm excited and anticipating being able to do this next step.  The photo below was taken last Saturday evening as the sun was setting at the dock of Fisherman's Inn at Lake Fork, Texas.
